Programme 2018

Musica Sacra International brings music from all over the world into the beautiful Allgäu region. The encounter of musicians with a great variety of backgrounds, cultures, beliefs and ethnics is the main objective. Interessed guests of spiritual music have the opportunity to be part of this unique gathering, get an insight into foreign cultures and develop a consciousness for a peaceful coexistence in our world. The voices and sounds of different religions can be heard in selected concert halls and churches as part of 14 concerts in the surroundings of Marktoberdorf. One, non-public service is slated for Sunday, 20th May in the JVA Kempten. Three ecumenical church services are planned for Monday, 21st May 2018. As we want to bring our festival even closer to the urban population we have installed an open-air stage on the town suqare of Marktoberdorf from 18th to 21st May.
